What is walkaround magic?

Walkaround magic is close-up magic performed right in guests' hands as the magician moves through the room. Instead of a stage show, the magic happens at tables, in groups during cocktail hours, or anywhere guests are gathered. Cards appear under watches, minds get read, impossible things happen inches away.

What is the difference between a magician and a mentalist?

Magic happens with things: a signed card appears inside a sealed bottle, a borrowed coin vanishes and shows up somewhere impossible. Mentalism happens with thoughts: the performer tells you the name of your childhood best friend, guesses a number you only thought of, or describes your first crush. Jacob Martinez performs both.
